Job Description
The Accounting Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the finance team by managing daily accounting tasks and ensuring accurate financial records. Working primarily within a small team, this role requires strong attention to detail and proficiency with QuickBooks accounting software to assist in maintaining financial accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Perform data entry for financial transactions and records
- Process invoices and ensure timely payment
- Reconcile accounts to verify accuracy of financial data
- Manage payment processing activities
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting roles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in QuickBooks software
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Strong data entry accuracy
- Excellent attention to detail
- Effective communication skills
- Bilingual Spanish and English,
