Support Specialist I

Title: Support Specialist I Location: Menlo Park, CA or Austin, TX Duration: 12 months (Possible extension) Work Schedule: Wednesday to Sunday or Thursday - Monday (3 days onsite and 2 days WFH) Description We are looking for an escalation specialist with 80% of time spent on escalations (ticket work) and 20% on project work. Candidates are expected to think creatively about ambiguous issues and are passionate about problem‑solving. They will also be able to work successfully across teams and countries, using analytical expertise and empathy to proactively drive solutions for change and ensure safe experiences across the client's family of apps. We seek a resilient self‑starter who is eager to learn, collaborative, and a proven team player. Specialists must be passionate about protecting media constituents and the users they interact with, and capable of investigating and conducting root‑cause analysis to inform strategic decisions and compliance requirements. The candidate must be a strategic thinker—resolving escalations reactively while proactively identifying and mitigating emerging issues, especially while on call. This role is expected to evolve with the team’s AI development efforts, potentially requiring evaluation of AI performance, identification of gaps, and recommending improvements to enhance model accuracy. Skillsets / Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, Engineering, Economics, or a similar field plus 1–3 years of professional experience within an operations environment.
