- Assess residents’ PT needs; develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Deliver PT interventions including therapeutic exercise, gait and balance training, and manual therapy as appropriate
- Reassess progress, adjust plans, and document outcomes in the patient record
- Educate patients and families on exercises, safety, and home programs; promote functional independence
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and discharge planning
- Ensure patient safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance during therapy sessions Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist license in California or eligible for CA licensure
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility or geriatric rehabilitation setting preferred
- Availability to commit to a 13-week travel assignment with 30 guaranteed hours per week
- Ability to start by 08/01/2026 and work the designated weekend-based schedule (Sun–Thu or Tue–Sat)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team Benefits and Support
