Adecco is currently assisting a local customer in their search for Packer positions in Bedford Park, IL . • Shift: Mon - Fri 6:00 am - 4:30 pm

• Pay: $ 28.10/hr.

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move raw materials, packaging supplies, and finish goods safely throughout the facility.
• Set up and execute chemical transfers by connecting hoses, valves, and transfer equipment to move materials between tanks and production vessels.
• Prepare packaging lines and equipment for packaging events by ensuring materials, containers, and supplies are available and properly staged.
• Measure, weigh, count, and verify products and materials to ensure accuracy and compliance with packaging specifications.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience in packaging, manufacturing, chemical processing, warehouse, or production environments.
• Experience handling chemicals and performing tank-to-tank material transfers preferred
• Previous forklift operating experience required; forklift certification preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Pay Details: $28.10 per hour
