Commercial Project Manager - Finance

A Snapshot ofYour Day (position overview) About your Role: As the Commercial Project Manager role, you will be responsiblefor all commercial/finance related matters and support the technical projectmanager in managing and optimizing targeted financial results with dueprofessional care, including but not limited to handling Accounting, Legal, Taxand NCM topics. You will be working alongside the different business, such asSubstation Projects (Greenfield, Replacement, Refurbishment, Extension), LTSAand O&M Contracts and Small orders. How You’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities) · Take full responsibility for all finance-relatedmatters of assigned projects, including Accounting, Legal, Tax, ForeignCurrencies, revenue recognition, contractual invoicing, and compliance withIFRS15, local GAAP, reporting guidelines, and internal controls. Financial execution of projects including creating sale orders andsetting up project in SAP, revenue recognition, invoicing and paymentterms, maintenance of project costs, securities, taxes, and insurancerequirements Project Controlling, Forecasting and Reporting of financial statusfor portfolio of dedicated projects. Ensures the accuracy of project books and records and theircompliance with financial guidelines. Co-leading Projects together with the ProjectManager, in managing and optimizing targeted financial results, with theobjective of driving the project according to the View email address on click.appcast.io Guidelines, customerrequirements and the applicable Financial Reporting Guidelines (FRG). Co-leads contracts/claim/change order negotiationswith stakeholders.Prepare commercial documentation for regularproject status meetings, maintaining accuracy of all commercial project datathroughout project execution What You Bring (requirements) Experience in commercial aspects ofexecution and controlling of projects Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Business or Accounting or other relevant field in the financial environment. Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience as a Commercial ProjectManager (CPM) or in a Project Finance role. Thorough understanding of GAAP and IFRS,strong skills in project controlling application, primarily SAP, MicrosoftOffice, as well as strong analytical skills CPA, MBA, PMI certification is mandatory. Work independently, capable atmultitasking and meeting deadlines; great team player and open to learn. Knowledge in business analytics tools (Alteryx, Power BI, Tableauor similar) as well as experience and curiosity about leveraging ArtificialIntelligence to address business needs is considered a plus.
