Title: Supervising Psychiatrist - Integrative & Interventional Psychiatry

Reports To: Chief Medical Officer (CMO)

Position Summary

The Supervising Psychiatrist provides advanced outpatient psychiatric care while serving as a clinical

leader and supervising physician within our integrative and interventional psychiatry model. This

role combines direct patient care, clinical supervision, program development, and quality oversight.

The Supervising Psychiatrist plays a key role in maintaining clinical standards, supporting provider

development, and contributing to the growth and sustainability of our specialty service lines.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Patient Care

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management

• Diagnose and treat complex mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders

• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans

• Prescribe, de-prescribe and manage psychotropic medications with an emphasis on harm

reduction and minimization of polypharmacy

• Order and interpret laboratory testing, pharmacogenomic testing, and screening cognitive

assessments

• Prescribe and oversee interventional treatments, including Ketamine infusion therapy, Spravato

(esketamine), and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically indicated

Supervision & Clinical Leadership

• Provide clinical supervision and oversight for Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Physician

Assistants (PAs), and therapists (consultative/clinical supervision)

• Serve as a collaborating physician for NP/PA practice agreements, as applicable

• Consults on complex or high-risk cases

• Participate in internal peer review and case consultation

• Support training and clinical competency development for providers and clinical staff

• Assist in development, refinement, and adherence to clinical protocols and standards of care

• Participates when necessary in internal patient care investigations

Bonus consideration is discretionary, performance-based, and subject to business needs. Specific

terms and timelines of bonus structure are discussed separately with qualified candidates during the

interview process.

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school

• Board-certified in Psychiatry

• Unrestricted medical license, preferably Colorado

• Active DEA registration

• Eligibility for credentialing with commercial and government payors

• Fluent in English

• Adept in typing and using EHRs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supervising NPs and/or PAs

• Training or experience in TMS, ketamine, or other interventional psychiatry modalities

• Experience working with military/veteran or first responder populations

• Prior involvement in program development or clinical leadership

• Familiarity with outpatient psychiatric operations and payer requirements

• Familiarity with rendering telehealth services
