The administrative component of this job will consist of internal case management, completing patient intake and discharge to home, our start of care process and nurse competency validation. The field-based aspect of this position will create opportunities for you to spend quality time with field staff in patient homes developing, mentoring and providing professional guidance.\u202f\u00a0

Work Location: Kansas City, KS location, in-home visits\u00a0and Potential Hybrid (varies based on branch need)\u202f\u202f\u202f\u00a0

Compensation: Compensation: $75-80k base salary, plus bonus potential (up to 10% of salary based on branch performance),\u202fcell\u202fphone and\u202fmileage reimbursement.\u00a0 \u202f

Responsibilities of the Nursing Supervisor \u202f\u202f\u00a0

• Internal case management, evaluation, education and development of nursing talent\u202f\u202f\u00a0

• Participating in the transition of our patients from the facility to their home through \u201cStart of Care Assessments\u201d and \u201cRe-evaluations\u201d\u202f\u202f\u00a0

• Review physicians\u2019 orders and update the plans of care and documentation, as necessary\u202f\u202f\u00a0

• Assist with selecting, training and validation of new clinical staff\u202f\u202f\u00a0

• Promote and enhance the level of clinical expertise of staff to provide safe and quality nursing care for our patients\u202f\u202f\u00a0

• Collaborating with the operations and business development team\u202f\u202f\u00a0

• Ensure adherence to State, Federal, Local regulations and Aveanna policies and procedures\u202f\u202f\u00a0

Qualifications of the Nursing Supervisor: \u202f\u202f\u00a0

• Must have good standing license (RN) in the state in which the clinician will practice\u202f- KS, MO or compact license\u202f\u00a0

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on nursing experience\u202fpreferred
• Previous pediatric and home care experience strongly preferred.

• Must be able to travel to patients\u2019 homes in designated territory\u202f\u202f\u00a0

• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver\u2019s license, and pass MVR check\u202f\u202f\u00a0

• Current CPR certification from AHA or ARC\u00a0

• Must be willing to supervise caregivers providing care to infants, children, adolescents and/or adults\u202f\u202f\u00a0
