The administrative component of this job will consist of internal case management, completing patient intake and discharge to home, our start of care process and nurse competency validation. - Participating in the transition of our patients from the facility to their home through \u201cStart of Care Assessments\u201d and \u201cRe-evaluations\u201d\u202f\u202f\u00a0
- Review physicians\u2019 orders and update the plans of care and documentation, as necessary\u202f\u202f\u00a0
- Assist with selecting, training and validation of new clinical staff\u202f\u202f\u00a0
- Promote and enhance the level of clinical expertise of staff to provide safe and quality nursing care for our patients\u202f\u202f\u00a0
- Collaborating with the operations and business development team\u202f\u202f\u00a0
- Ensure adherence to State, Federal, Local regulations and Aveanna policies and procedures\u202f\u202f\u00a0
- Must have good standing license (RN) in the state in which the clinician will practice\u202f- KS, MO or compact license\u202f\u00a0
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on nursing experience\u202fpreferred
- Previous pediatric and home care experience strongly preferred.
- Must be able to travel to patients\u2019 homes in designated territory\u202f\u202f\u00a0
- Must have reliable transportation, valid driver\u2019s license, and pass MVR check\u202f\u202f\u00a0
- Current CPR certification from AHA or ARC\u00a0
- Must be willing to supervise caregivers providing care to infants, children, adolescents and/or adults\u202f\u202f\u00a0
