Senior Director, Global Marketing Cell Therapy

AstraZeneca seeks a Senior Director of Global Marketing for its Cell Therapy Enterprise to develop commercial strategy and launch plans for a cell therapy portfolio spanning multiple disease areas. The role requires translating clinical evidence and market insights into differentiated go-to-market strategies while partnering across research, development, and commercial functions.
Responsibilities
- Develop global brand strategy, positioning, promotional approach, and go-to-market model for cell therapy assets
- Build global capabilities, customer journeys, and treatment delivery models to support launch readiness
- Translate global strategy into regional implementation plans for priority markets
- Partner with Medical, Market Access, Regulatory, and Manufacturing teams to align development and commercialization
- Serve as commercial subject matter expert, monitoring launch readiness, site activation, and key performance indicators
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience in brand marketing, sales, market research, or commercial leadership
- Direct experience with cell therapy, gene therapy, or advanced therapy modalities
- Demonstrated ability to lead multiple indications simultaneously
- Broad global commercial experience including pre-launch and launch activities
- Proven track record shaping early commercial strategy for pipeline assets
- Bachelor's degree in relevant scientific discipline; MBA, PhD, PharmD preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with autonomy and influence senior stakeholders
Compensation: $231,988 to $347,983 base
