Sheet Metal Mechanic Installer – Commercial HVAC
DFW Area
$22–$28/hr | Full-Time | Overtime Available
We are hiring a Sheet Metal Mechanic Installer to support commercial construction projects across the DFW area. This role is ideal for a hands-on installer who understands ductwork, reads blueprints confidently, and takes pride in clean, accurate work.
What You’ll Do
- Install and assemble commercial sheet metal systems, including ductwork and vents
- Measure, cut, bend, and fabricate sheet metal using hand and power tools
- Read and install from blueprints and job specifications
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair existing sheet metal systems as needed
- Follow OSHA safety standards and maintain a clean, organized jobsite
- Coordinate with foremen, project managers, and other trades
What We’re Looking For
- Proven sheet metal experience (commercial or industrial preferred)
- Strong blueprint reading and layout skills
- Proficient with standard sheet metal tools and equipment
- OSHA 10 preferred
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights or in confined spaces
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
