Neuroendovascular Locums Job in Ohio 7 On / 7 Off Beginning ASAP - Ongoing Assignment

Ongoing coverage; 1 week per month
Credentialing timeframe: 120 days

Shift Description
7 on / 7 off schedule
7:00 AM - 7:00 PM with 24-hour neuroendovascular coverage responsibilities
Respond to ED stroke alerts 24/7
12 hours in-house and 12 hours beeper coverage based on facility needs
Weekend coverage required

24-hour neuroendovascular call coverage
24-hour ED stroke call coverage

Requirements
Board Certified Interventional Neurologist
Active Ohio license
BLS
ACLS
1-2 years of experience
Clean background with no malpractice or license issues
Preference for candidates located in Ohio or nearby states, but not required

Required Procedures / Skills
Perform 24/7 neuroendovascular call coverage
Perform 24/7 ED stroke call coverage
Thrombectomy procedures as clinically appropriate
Neuroendovascular procedures

Assignment Details
Patient population: Adult/Geriatric
100% inpatient coverage
Average daily census: 10-12 patients on the inpatient list, plus additional patients from call coverage or IR as needed
Trauma Level 1 facility
Coverage needed for gap fill
Coverage includes two primary stroke centers and a high-volume thrombectomy-capable center
EMR: Epic
