About the Position

Job Title: OB Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4x12.0 Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Two (2) years of experience required License: RN License (New York only) Certifications: - BLS (American Heart Association only) - Neonatal Resuscitation Must-Have: - RN License (New York only) - Two (2) years of experience - BLS Certification (American Heart Association only) - Neonatal Resuscitation Description: Provide direct care to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients, including high, moderate, and low-risk cases. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in labor and delivery. Demonstrate good communication skills. Prioritize and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment. Commit to patient and family-centered care. Employees are oriented and trained to various competencies and modes of care across the obstetric service. Floating among units to meet variable needs of volume and acuity is an ongoing expectation. At least two years of experience in labor and delivery is required. Operating room and triage experience is highly desired.
