Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Specialist to support an enterprise Cloud Migration initiative.

The selected candidate will be responsible for the design, migration, administration, security, monitoring, and optimization of cloud infrastructure. This position requires strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS , Windows Server, Active Directory, networking, cloud security, automation, virtualization, and infrastructure administration.

This is a 100% onsite position in Jackson, Mississippi. Remote candidates will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and modify scalable cloud architecture supporting applications and IaaS/PaaS environments.

• Migrate on-premises applications, workloads, databases, and infrastructure to public cloud platforms.

• Design and maintain secure, scalable, reliable, and cost-effective cloud environments.

• Implement cloud security, compliance, data protection, and privacy controls.

• Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, availability, and capacity.

• Troubleshoot and proactively resolve cloud infrastructure issues.

• Configure and manage cloud networking, VPCs, firewalls, virtual machines, and related infrastructure.

• Administer Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory environments.

• Develop automation and administrative scripts using PowerShell.

• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, security, and cross-functional technical teams.

• Optimize cloud performance, scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

• Develop controls and processes using audit and monitoring tools.

• Stay current with cloud products, technologies, security practices, and infrastructure trends.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree.

• 7+ years of experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.

• Advanced Microsoft Windows Server administration.

• Strong Active Directory experience.

• Advanced networking knowledge.

• Experience with cloud networking, VPCs, and firewalls.

• Advanced virtual machine management experience.

• Microsoft 365 experience.

• PowerShell scripting and automation experience.

• Knowledge of cloud security, compliance, data protection, and privacy.

• Hands-on cloud migration experience.

The ideal candidate will have significant hands-on experience with enterprise cloud infrastructure, particularly:

Azure / AWS | Cloud Migration | Windows Server | Active Directory | Networking | PowerShell | Microsoft 365 | Virtual Machines | VPCs | Firewalls | Cloud Security | IaaS | PaaS

Candidates with 7+ years of AWS/Azure experience , strong Windows Server and networking skills, and experience with large-scale cloud migration projects are strongly preferred.

Work Environment

• 40 hours per week.

• No routine travel.

• No on-call requirement.

• No regular weekend work.
