Job Description

Job Summary:
The Radiologic Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures to support patient care and clinical diagnoses. The role involves operating imaging equipment, ensuring safety protocols, and maintaining image quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Operate X-ray and other diagnostic imaging equipment to produce clear, accurate images.
• Follow established safety procedures to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure.
• Maintain detailed documentation of imaging procedures and patient information.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure proper imaging techniques and equipment calibration.
• Adhere to all regulatory standards and maintain current licensure and certifications.
• Assist in ongoing quality assurance activities and troubleshooting equipment issues.

Qualifications:

• Hold current certification and registration as a Radiology Technologist from the ARRT.
• Possess a valid NYSDOH radiologic technologist license.
• Demonstrate at least one year of general radiographer experience.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist training program, including military training if applicable.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in Radiological Sciences or related field.
