Sr. Manager, Financial Risk & Compliance

Senior Manager responsible for financial risk management, internal controls, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance at a medical device company. Will develop risk strategies, oversee control design, coordinate audit activities, and drive continuous improvement across financial reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial reporting risk management strategies, policies, and monitoring procedures
• Lead risk assessments to identify emerging threats from business changes, technology, and acquisitions
• Oversee design and enhancement of internal controls with process owners for effectiveness and scalability
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors on walkthroughs, testing, and remediation tracking
• Develop training and governance activities to strengthen compliance awareness across the organization

Requirements

• 8+ years of accounting and financial reporting experience with U.S. GAAP expertise
• Deep knowledge of COSO Framework, PCAOB Auditing Standards, and SOX 404 requirements
• CPA or equivalent certification required
• Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP systems and financial processes
• Strong root cause analysis and project management skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Big 4 or public accounting background strongly preferred
