Research and Development Technician

Job Description As a R&D Tech II here at Honeywell, you will play a key role in supporting research and development activities by conducting experiments, analyzing data, and assisting in the development of innovative technologies. You will contribute to advancing Honeywell’s cutting-edge solutions and help drive technical excellence within the team. Key Responsibilities Conduct laboratory testing following established procedures. Maintain laboratory equipment, consumables, and chemical inventory. Perform basic maintenance on laboratory instrumentation. Verify data quality. Communicate with internal customers on data and methods. Some limited weekend coverage. Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE Minimum associates degree in scientific discipline, or 2+ years of experience in analytical laboratory or chemical field. WE VALUE Bachelor’s degree in scientific discipline. Analytical chemistry experience in techniques such as organic physical properties such as density, cold flow properties, wet chemical analysis including titrations, combustion elemental analysis, chromatography. Strong analytical problem solving skills with attention to detail. Scientific writing and presentation skills. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Knowledge of and adherence to laboratory safety protocols. Experience handling hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals.
