Restaurant Front of House Manager – Uchi Salt Lake City The Front of House Manager will lead the daily operations of the restaurant, supporting the General Manager and Assistant General Manager in maintaining service excellence. Responsibilities include leading the service team, developing staff, ensuring guest experiences reflect Hai Hospitality’s standards, upholding safety and cleanliness, and fostering a culture of thoughtful hospitality. Responsibilities Lead the daily front‑of‑house operations and service team. Support staff development and ensure adherence to the restaurant’s standards. Maintain safety and cleanliness in all service areas. Collaborate with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager on service excellence and team growth. Ensure the restaurant’s culture of hospitality is upheld at all times. Qualifications Effective communication with guests and staff. Identify and address safety issues, complying with safety guidelines and standards. Lift and carry trays, dishes, equipment, and goods up to 50 lbs; restock inventory as needed. Stand and walk for extended periods; bend, stoop, and reach as required. Work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment and in varying temperatures. Reconfigure seating arrangements by lifting, pushing, or pulling tables and chairs. Use kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, and knives. Maintain a neat and organized workspace and clean surfaces regularly. Respond quickly to customer needs and work in close proximity to coworkers in crowded areas. Tolerate exposure to potential allergens and food odors. Maintain a professional and hygienic appearance, including proper uniform and personal grooming. Understand and communicate directives effectively with leadership and coworkers.
