Java Software Engineer

To support a growing software development team, the full-time Java Software Engineer will develop scalable web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and modern front-end technologies while participating in the full development lifecycle and ensuring code quality. Key responsibilities Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and various front-end technologies Conduct testing, code reviews, and create comprehensive technical documentation for applications and APIs Implement AI integration and stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in Java development Required qualifications Experience in Java and JavaScript programming languages Basic understanding of the software development life cycle and object-oriented programming (OOP) Knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL and basic SQL skills Familiarity with modern frameworks and technologies like Spring, Maven, and React.js Basic understanding of AI concepts and experience with RAG application building or vector databases is a plus Virtual Vocations Inc
