Interior Designer

We are seeking a designer with approximately 5-10 years of experience to join our inhouse interior design team in Miami. This is a full-time, in-office role supporting the Interior Design Director and Interior Design PMs across our entire project portfolio—spanning high-end multifamily, condo, and sales gallery work. The right candidate brings a strong design eye and visual production skills alongside the organizational rigor to manage specifications, read construction documents, and support project coordination across multiple active projects simultaneously. Core Responsibilities Support the design team's internal design studies by independently producing 3D models using software such as Revit, Rhino, Lumion, or similar Build massing, layout, and finish studies to support group design decision-making across active projects Produce working-level 3D visualizations (not marketing-level renderings) to aid internal design decisions and spatial visualization Translate 2D plans and elevations into 3D models to test spatial relationships and material applications Maintain model accuracy and updates as designs evolve through project phases Technical Coordination Read and interpret architectural and interior design construction documents Prepare redlines, markups, and coordination drawings using Bluebeam Revu or Support design coordination between internal team, architects, and contractors Assist with submittal review and construction administration tasks as needed Work independently to track open items, follow up proactively, and keep coordination moving without waiting on direction Stay highly organized across concurrent projects, maintaining clear documentation and file structure Produce and manage marketing-quality renderings in coordination with external Provide Photoshop-based image editing, compositing, and presentation layout support Assist with visual material preparation for sales galleries, pitch decks, and developer presentations FF&E, Art & Accessories Own and maintain FF&E schedules across assigned projects Develop art packages and accessory selections in alignment with project design intent Coordinate with procurement vendors and track status through delivery Maintain and manage relationships with key FF&E, finish, and material vendors Coordinate sample requests, pricing inquiries, and product submittals Attend vendor meetings and showroom visits as needed; document and distribute Own and maintain the team's physical and digital resource library, including material samples, finish boards, product catalogs, and vendor contacts Establish and enforce organizational systems to keep the library current and accessible to the full team Audit library contents periodically and cull outdated samples or discontinued products Branding Support Contribute to branding initiatives for select projects, including mood boards, palette development, and material storytelling Collaborate with the marketing team on design-driven brand assets Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture 5-10 years of professional experience in interior design, architecture, or a closely related field Strong portfolio demonstrating both design sensibility and technical accuracy Proficiency in Photoshop (required); 3D modeling and rendering software (required — e.g., Revit, Rhino, Lumion, SketchUp, or similar) Ability to read and mark up construction documents fluently Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple project tracks simultaneously Experience in residential, multifamily, or mixed-use development preferred Familiarity with Bluebeam Revu, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite a plus What We're Looking For Portfolio review required — please collect samples showing both design work (renderings, presentations, material selections) and technical work (plans, markups, This is an inhouse role based in Miami; candidates should be local or willing to relocate This position reports directly into the Interior Design Director and Interior Design PMs, and works across condo, multifamily, and sales gallery project types #J-18808-Ljbffr The Pierce Group
