Service Technician - Pulp & Paper (Louisiana)

A service technician will be part of a team that focuses on maintaining assigned accounts or groups of accounts, ensuring chemical feed equipment works properly and products are transferred safely. Responsibilities Ensure chemical feed equipment is operating correctly and products are transferred safely. Perform routine testing and monitoring at the customer site, including data entry and contribute to service report preparation. Interface with customers to understand issues with chemicals or equipment. Manage product inventory at the customer, including deliveries to process units and offloading to customer tanks. Adjust chemical feed levels to meet optimal performance based on routine testing and monitoring. Deliver chemicals and compile trial data at the customer site. Alert site manager or support engineer of problems or opportunities and begin troubleshooting. Conduct expanded testing of process variables to identify dosage improvements or mechanical impacts. Inspect, set up, maintain, and troubleshoot monitoring and feed equipment. Work with the site team and customers to ensure optimal program performance. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Minimum 3 years experience working on mechanical and electrical systems, preferably in an industrial environment. Chemical handling experience desired, but not required. Must live within 1 hour of the customer. Position requires schedule flexibility, including after‑hours calls and weekend overtime on a rotating basis. Primarily Monday‑Friday day shift but includes weekend overtime rotated among technicians. Benefits Health and wellness benefit plans.
