Senior Technical Business Analyst

Senior Technical Business AnalystWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Business Analyst to join our client's team in DC. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, Systems Engineering, or a related field, or possess 4+ years of relevant work experience.Key Requirements:Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to confidently present to project teams.Exceptional interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work effectively in integrated team environments.Demonstrated self-motivation and the ability to take initiative.Proficient in analytical thinking and problem-solving.Extensive knowledge across various computer environments, platforms, and technologies.Experience in defining and documenting business process maps, utilizing swim lane format where possible.Expertise in crafting business/functional requirements, use cases, user stories, technical specifications, test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test results.Familiarity with a range of collaboration, requirements, testing, and support methodologies.Strong grasp of Agile methodologies such as SCRUM/SAFE and related techniques.Ability to create and document Project Life Cycle Management (PLM) artifacts and key process steps specific to Amtrak.Proficiency in translating technical issues for non-technical audiences.Capable of general troubleshooting for existing information systems or desktop applications to identify errors or deficiencies.Solid skills in Microsoft Office 365 suite including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project, and Visio.Experience with BA tool sets including Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, and Tableau.
