Job Summary:

Manages a hospital-based inpatient and outpatient physical therapy clinic, providing expert patient care and overseeing clinic operations. Demonstrates leadership in interdisciplinary teamwork, ensuring clinical excellence and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Lead and coordinate inpatient and outpatient physical therapy services, including evaluations and treatment planning.
  
  
• 
  Support and develop staff through supervision, mentoring, and fostering a team-oriented environment.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with medical and administrative teams to optimize clinic processes and ensure compliance with all governing regulations.
  
  
• 
  Manage department revenue and expenses, maintaining financial sustainability.
  
  
• 
  Oversee orthopedic specialty clinic operations, including referral screening, prioritization, and scheduling.
  
  
• 
  Ensure adherence to all applicable clinical, federal, and state guidelines, promoting quality and safety standards.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a Bachelors Degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  
  
• 
  Possess at least four (4) years of full-time, active patient care experience, with previous managerial experience preferred.
  
  
• 
  Be licensed in good standing as a Physical Therapist in Alaska.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in clinical assessment, documentation, and patient-centered communication.
  
  
• 
  Have knowledge of therapeutic modalities, assistive equipment, and clinic operational tools.
  
  
• 
  Be capable of travel via small aircraft, and adapt to diverse clinical environments.
