Layne's Chicken Fingers was born and breaded in Texas.Since 1994, we have been working to perfect our recipe and our craft. We are now looking to bring our amazing chicken fingers, fries and shakes to the rest of the world (not to forget about our variety of amazing sauces). Role Summary:
As a Line Cook , your main responsibilities will be to prepare our fresh daily hand cut chicken, breading it in our uniquely seasoned breading and frying it to perfection in our state-of-the-art fryers, manning our griddle plate where we toast our authentic Texas toasting bread, and grill our cheese and bacon for our famous club sandwiches.  A huge part of who we are and what we are about is our fun loving, non-corporate environment, so as a Layne's Line Cook you will be part of our culture which ensures everyone has fun while we serve our guests our "Soon to be Famous"™ Chicken Fingers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
·       Communicate with front cashier and drive thru on the number of customers present.
·       Communicate with other cooks on food status and speed.
·       Assist with prep.
·       Ensure the kitchen remains immaculate, cleaning as often as possible
·       Keep up to pace with orders from both the front and drive thru.
Required Qualifications
·       Have the ability to communicate effectively.
·       Be at least 16 years of age.
·       Be willing and able to work a flexible schedule.
·       Have the ability to lift and carry 55 lbs. 
Preferred Qualifications
·       Have experience in a fast-food concept.
·       Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
