School Psychologist - Wilmington, DE

Step into an impactful role supporting elementary students as an onsite school psychologist! This contract opportunity is available through June 8, 2027, at a welcoming elementary school near Wilmington, Delaware. Work onsite Monday through Friday (35 hours per week, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch each day), providing essential psychological services and helping students grow and thrive. Key Qualifications: Hold a valid School Psychologist license in Delaware Prior experience in school settings preferred Commitment to collaborative, solution-oriented work Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families Excellent organizational and communication skills Willingness to complete required $85 CBC fingerprinting Enthusiastic about supporting elementary-aged children Primary Responsibilities: Deliver psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for students Consult with teachers, families, and administrators to design intervention plans Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed Develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) reports and participate in meetings Support implementation of behavioral and academic strategies Maintain detailed documentation, reports, and compliance with legal requirements Participate in school-wide initiatives and offer staff guidance on student mental health This is a rewarding, onsite contract position where your expertise will make a genuine difference in students lives.
