Production Manager

A top-tier, employee owned, family first organization is looking for an experienced Production Manager. The Production Manager will work closely with the Director of Operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Supervising the timely completion of all projects, creating and implementing process improvements, and coordinating projects in a manner that maximizes efficiency and profitability.
• Achieving manufacturing results by communicating job expectations to hourly and salary employees. Planning, monitoring, and appraising production results.
• Working with all employees using coaching, counseling, discipline, and mediation skills.
• Maintaining workflow by monitoring steps of the process using process monitors; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources reporting on daily results, and making corrections to achieve targets.
• Assigning personnel to accomplish work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; resolving problems; evaluating employees, and conducting orientation and training of personnel.
• Being responsible for the safety of all employees and ensuring they know and acknowledge all safety rules, policies, and necessary PPE for each position.
• Being accountable for compliance with established quality policies and procedures.
• Being responsible for communication on all equipment and machines. Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel.

Qualifications include:

• Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Business, or related field.
• Experience in the hydraulics industry strongly preferred.
• Successful track record of leading teams and executing business initiatives.
• Ability to develop relationships, and foster a team environment.
