Regional Relationship Manager

Role Overview The Regional Relationship Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining strong, trusted relationships with cooperative clients within an assigned territory to drive growth, asset retention, and long‑term engagement with Homestead Advisers. The position requires educating cooperative leadership and boards on Homestead Advisers’ programs and services, consulting on investment and business needs, delivering tailored solutions aligned with cooperative goals, and actively managing a sales pipeline with outreach and engaging presentations. Responsibilities Educate cooperative leadership and directors on Homestead Advisers programs and services and consult on business needs. Effectively manage a large territory, building and managing a sales pipeline and consistently meeting strategic goals. Deliver effective presentations to current and prospective cooperatives and their employees. Track cooperative contacts consistently utilizing the Client Relationship Management (CRM) system (Salesforce). Create Homestead Funds asset allocation plans. Offer ongoing account review meetings. Promote Homestead Advisers at conferences and individual cooperative meetings (up to 60% travel). Collaborate with other Homestead Advisers teams to deliver a high level of client service. Complete annual compliance training and education and maintain required FINRA securities licensing. Demonstrate knowledge of Homestead Advisers programs and services and comply with policies and procedures. Qualifications Formal Education Bachelor's degree in a business‑related field. Experience & Certifications Five or more years of financial industry experience, preferably in sales or business development roles. FINRA SIE (Securities Industry Professional), FINRA Series6, and FINRA Series63 licensing required within six months of start, with FINRA Series65 preferred within one year. Valid driver’s license and, ideally, experience working with cooperatives. Professional designation such as CFP, CEBS, CIMA, or CFA is preferred. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of financial products and services, investment concepts, retirement/benefit structures, and cooperative business models. Consultative selling skills, strong prospecting and pipeline management, effective use of CRM, clear professional communication, and presentation skills. Ability to prioritize opportunities, build trust‑based long‑term client relationships, collaborate with operations and consultants, adhere to compliance and ethical practices, and use Microsoft Office tools. Physical Requirements The role includes close visual acuity tasks, occasional light manual handling, and requires travel up to 60% of the time.
