By delivering objective, data-driven research, program planning and development, technical assistance, implementation, post-implementation analytics, and evaluations, OSC/Lewin supports current program activities, informs future program investments and supports strategic decision processes that improve the health and well-being of the nation's citizens.The Director of Payment Model Operations will oversee day to day operational execution for payment model implementation contracts, including participant onboarding, participant management and communications, help desk operations, and monitoring and compliance activities.Working collaboratively with senior leaders and cross functional teams across the organization, the Director will deliver exceptional client service, produce high quality, timely deliverables, and drive innovation across the market. From a growth and relationship perspective, the Director will support new business development by strengthening client relationships, contributing to proposal efforts, and expanding the firm's portfolio of work.You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.Primary Responsibilities:Engage, develop, and sustain client relationships through policy consultation, strategic guidance, and thought leadershipDirect end-to-end operational functions for value-based care initiatives, including participant onboarding, stakeholder communications, help desk support, monitoring, and compliance oversight, to ensure efficient implementation and sustained program performanceOversee analyses to monitor performance and continuously improve operational activitiesMentor and develop staff to strengthen technical, analytical, and problem solving capabilitiesEnsure consistently high standards of accuracy, quality control, and attention to detail across all deliverablesCollaborate effectively as a senior member of multidisciplinary project teamsManage stakeholder relationships with clients, partners, and subcontractorsLead business development and growth activities, including capture and proposal responseYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:8+ years of relevant health policy industry experience in healthcare consulting, program implementation, quality improvement, evaluation, and/or policy expertise4+ years of experience working on value-based care payment initiatives supporting operational and/or compliance/monitoring activitiesDemonstrated experience in cross contractor coordination, managing subcontractors, and leading cross-functional project teamsExperience supporting business development efforts, including identifying opportunities, shaping capture strategies, contributing to proposal development, and building client relationships in support of organizational growthBroad understanding of federal health policy issues, with ability to work in multiple areas serving as a subject matter expertProven excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex findings to non-technical audiences*All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter PolicyPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
