Feedback isn't just accepted — it's fuel.Key ResponsibilitiesInstruction & Test Prep DeliveryDeliver engaging, targeted SAT prep lessons in Reading & Writing and/or Math aligned to the current digital SAT format.Teach test-taking strategies, time management, process of elimination, and question-type recognition alongside core content.Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and technologies (including SAT-specific platforms) to enhance student performance.Manage a classroom of 20+ scholars in a focused, high-energy environment.Assessment & Score GrowthAdminister and analyze regular practice tests to identify student strengths, weaknesses, and score trends.Use diagnostic data to personalize instruction and target the highest-leverage skill gaps.Provide timely, specific feedback to help students improve section scores and overall performance.Maintain accurate records of student practice scores, progress, and readiness.Classroom ManagementEstablish and enforce classroom norms and procedures that support focused, test-like conditions.Communication & CollaborationCommunicate regularly with students, parents, and guardians about score progress, pacing, and strategies for at-home practice.Collaborate with fellow teachers, school leaders, and college counseling staff to align SAT prep with broader college readiness goals.Minimum QualificationsA bachelor's degree before your first day of work with Success Academy (a background in education is not required).Strong command of SAT Math and/or Reading & Writing content and strategy.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Passion for learning and an unwavering commitment to student development.Ability to work in person in New York City.Here's What You'll GetA mission with meaning: You'll play a direct role in opening college doors for students who might otherwise never have had the chance.Skills that set you apart: Build expertise in data-driven instruction, differentiated coaching, public speaking, and student motivation.World-class coaching and development: No education background?
