Monarch Greenhouse Solutions is looking for an enthusiastic Traveling Greenhouse Builder! ️️ Every week brings new adventures and exciting construction challenges as we create important infrastructure to strengthen local food systems!

Position: Traveling Greenhouse Builder

You'll construct both residential and commercial greenhouses, requiring hands-on problem-solving, technical know-how, and teamwork. We offer compensation for travel and accommodations in comfortable Airbnbs, but flexibility to travel out of state for several weeks at a time is essential!

️ Key Responsibilities:

• Construction: Framing, glazing, excavation, concrete forming, pouring & finishing, and installing greenhouse systems.

• Equipment Operation: Excavators, skid steers, telehandlers, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and company vehicles.

• Problem-Solving: Collaborate closely with job site leaders to achieve flawless installations.

• Safety Compliance: Strictly follow OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe workspace. ⚠️

• Quality Control: Ensure work meets company standards and swiftly address construction issues.

• Personal Growth: Continuously train, improve skills, and contribute to a thriving team culture. ️‍♂️

✅ Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in construction (greenhouse, steel frame, or commercial structures preferred).

• Technical Skills: Skilled with construction tools and knowledgeable in framing, roofing, and installation techniques.

• Strong Work Ethic: Dedicated, reliable, and driven to produce high-quality results.

• Listening Skills: Effectively take and follow directions.

• Problem Solver: Adapt quickly and make sound decisions on-site.

• Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. Note: Must be approved by our insurance to drive company trucks, or employment may end.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 80+ lbs and perform hands-on tasks outdoors. ☀️

• Travel: Comfortable traveling out of state for up to three weeks at a time.

• Drive-time compensation (for sites >30 miles from Kearns shop) ⏱️
