Commercial Service TechnicianWe are seeking a reliable Commercial Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial equipment and systems. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in the field. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnostics, emergency repairs, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.A Commercial Service Technician installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs equipment or systems used in commercial buildings and facilities.Typical Responsibilities:Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or system issuesPerform preventive maintenance inspectionsRepair or replace faulty components and equipmentInstall new commercial equipment and systemsRead blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manualsTest systems to ensure proper operation and safety complianceRespond to emergency service callsMaintain accurate service records and reportsCommunicate with customers and explain repair recommendationsFollow OSHA and company safety proceduresOrder and manage tools, parts, and suppliesRequired Skills:Mechanical and electrical troubleshootingKnowledge of hand and power toolsCustomer service and communicationTime management and organizationAbility to work independentlyBasic computer or mobile app reporting skillsQualifications:High school diploma or GEDTechnical/trade school certification preferredEPA certification (for HVAC/refrigeration roles)Valid driver's licenseThree years of experience with commercial systems or maintenance is preferredPhysical Requirements:Lift heavy equipment or toolsClimb ladders and work in confined spacesStand, kneel, or crouch for extended periodsWork indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
