Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

Boundless Care Inc. is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to assist a senior client in Morgan Hill, CA. The client will be transitioning to a senior living community and requires skilled nursing support for catheter-related care. The client has a history of bladder cancer and currently requires assistance with intermittent straight catheterization. He is unable to perform the procedure independently and needs support from a qualified LVN. Responsibilities Providing straight catheterization assistance during the afternoon visit. Following proper infection control and hygiene procedures. Monitoring and reporting any concerns related to catheter care. Providing respectful, patient-centered care. Communicating updates to the family and care team as needed. Documenting visit details as required. Client Notes Client can stand and may use a wheelchair throughout the day. Client has dementia but is described as cooperative. Client has an allergy to rice. Client previously experienced infections with a Foley catheter, so proper catheter care and infection prevention are very important. Requirements Active LVN license in California. Experience with catheter care / straight catheterization. Experience working with seniors preferred. Dementia care experience is a plus. Must be reliable, professional, and compassionate. Must be comfortable providing care in a senior living/community setting. Each visit is expected to be a maximum of 2 hours. #J-18808-Ljbffr
