7th Grade Science Teacher

Whisconier Middle School is looking for an excellent Teacher for 7th Grade Science. Location: Brookfield Public Schools - Whisconier Middle School Position Type: Middle School Science Teacher Important Dates: August 20 & 21: New Hire Orientation August 24: First Day for Current Teaching Staff August 27: First Day for Students Responsibilities Develop and deliver engaging science lessons aligned with curriculum standards (grades 6–8). Foster a safe, inclusive, and hands‑on learning environment to support student inquiry and exploration. Design and implement assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed. Integrate technology and lab activities to enhance understanding of scientific concepts. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student success. Maintain classroom management and promote positive student behavior. Participate in professional development and school events as required. Qualified candidates must have a valid CT Certification in the area they apply.
