We are looking for an educator who is committed to fostering student growth, both academically and socially, within a supportive and collaborative school environment. Key Responsibilities: (list not all inclusive) Create a structured and engaging classroom environment that encourages student learning and development. Deliver instruction in literature, writing, and language arts that aligns with curriculum standards. Collaborate with colleagues and staff to support student achievement and school initiatives. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and classroom expectations. Maintain classroom management while adhering to school policies and procedures. Complete all required administrative duties, including grading and reporting on student performance. Qualifications: Valid Connecticut English (015) certification. Experience teaching at the high school level preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a professional team environment.
