Boss Mudjacking is looking for a reliable, mechanically inclined individual to join our field crew performing concrete leveling and repair projects throughout the Kansas City area.

This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working outdoors, solving problems, operating equipment, and seeing the results of their work at the end of the day. Previous mudjacking experience is not required. Experience in concrete, construction, landscaping, hardscaping, equipment operation, foundation work, or another field-service trade is helpful, but we're equally interested in candidates with the right aptitude and willingness to learn.

Boss Mudjacking has served Kansas City-area homeowners and businesses for decades. We're looking for someone who can become a dependable part of our field operation and grow with the company as their skills and experience develop.

What You'll Do: 

As a member of the Boss team, you'll work alongside an experienced team member to complete residential and commercial concrete leveling projects.

Responsibilities may include:

• Performing concrete leveling and mudjacking work at customer properties.
• Operating pumps, drills, trucks, trailers, and other jobsite equipment.
• Preparing job sites and assisting with setup and cleanup.
• Mixing and handling materials used during the leveling process.
• Drilling, pumping, patching, and finishing work.
• Identifying and helping solve jobsite challenges as they arise.
• Maintaining tools, equipment, vehicles, and materials.
• Communicating professionally with homeowners and other customers.
• Following company procedures for job documentation, safety, and quality.
• Assisting with other field-service work as needed.

Experience in concrete, construction, equipment operation, landscaping, hardscaping, foundation repair, property maintenance, restoration, or another skilled field-service environment is a plus.

Requirements: 

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to safely perform physically demanding work throughout the workday, including lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling, and working on your feet for extended periods.
• Ability and willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to travel to jobsites throughout the Kansas City metro area.
• Ability to safely operate tools and equipment after appropriate training.
• Dependable attendance and ability to arrive on time for scheduled work.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, customers, and supervisors.
• Willingness to learn and follow established safety, quality, and operating procedures.

Depending on your experience, interests, and performance, there may be opportunities over time to take on additional responsibilities in areas such as crew leadership, equipment management, estimating, customer relations, sales, or other field services.

We're not looking for one specific career background. We're looking for someone capable, dependable, and motivated to continually improve their skills and take on greater responsibility as they grow.

Compensation & Schedule: 

• Starting pay of $20-$28 per hour, based on experience and capabilities.
• Hours vary somewhat with project volume, weather, and seasonality
• Primarily weekday daytime work throughout the Kansas City metro

Boss Mudjacking is an established Kansas City-area concrete leveling company specializing in raising and stabilizing sunken concrete. Our projects include driveways, sidewalks, patios, garage floors, steps, and other concrete surfaces for residential and commercial customers.
