• Pay rate: starting at $23.43-$25.13/hr DOE
• Schedule : Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
• Job Type: Full-Time | On-Site

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Facility Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team in Louisville, KY. This role is responsible for supporting Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives and ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of facility and production equipment.


The ideal candidate will have strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting abilities, maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, and a passion for continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and operational equipment issues.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
Conduct equipment testing and validation following repairs, changeovers, or extended shutdowns.
Record and maintain maintenance documentation, operational data, and PM records.
Review production schedules and perform scheduled maintenance during equipment downtime.
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, and process efficiency.
Assist with shop floor equipment relocations, including air, power, gas, and water connections.
Provide technical recommendations regarding new equipment installations and facility modifications.
Perform electrical troubleshooting and repair activities.
Maintain spare parts inventory and consumables to support equipment uptime.
Maintain indoor and outdoor lighting systems.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company policies.
Submit and participate in continuous improvement projects and initiatives.


Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
Experience with preventive maintenance programs.
Knowledge of quality systems, workplace safety, and environmental requirements.
Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and maintenance documentation.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work overtime as needed.


Preferred
Technical diploma or trade certification in Maintenance, Industrial Technology, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
Experience with automation systems and manufacturing equipment.
Experience supporting TPM and continuous improvement initiatives.
