Financial Reporting Manager

About The Company: Our client is a global alternative investment firm employing a multi-manager model, allocating capital across a broad array of independent teams with diverse strategies. Responsibilities Review the monthly books and records including financial statements, regulatory filings, net capital requirements, and other ongoing deliverables Oversee the financial aspects of a registered Futures Clearing Merchant Ensure compliance with net capital requirements of the FCM Perform financial analysis for various needs including budgeting and forecasting of business results and respond to inquiries both internally and externally Manage and prepare the firm’s annual US GAAP audited financial statement and liaise with external auditors on audit and US GAAP related matters Ensure all required month-end reconciliations are performed and reviewed Requirements Bachelor’s degree required 10-12 years of related experience Experience within financial services required In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements for a Futures Clearing Merchant Experience with the rules and requirements for an FCM Experience managing and handling regulatory examinations and interacting with regulators CPA preferred Series 27 or Series 28 preferred Salary $175,000-$225,000 Location: New York, NY Employment type: Full-time #J-18808-Ljbffr
