RTV Assistant

About the Role We are seeking a RTV (Return to Vendor) Assistant to join our RMA department and assist in order processing, order entry and other duties as assigned. This position will be based in Secaucus, NJ. What You Will Do Count, sort and verify all incoming returned products to verify receipt of items on requisitions or invoices. Examine the returned items to verify conformance to specifications. Process orders; receive orders, close orders and perform heavy data entry responsibilities. Work with the Warehouse department on storage of returned items according to identifying information. Compile information and reports on use of stock, adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, damage to stock, location changes and other related data. Acquire approvals from management to process RMAs for replacement or credit. Coordinate the availability of parts for shipping and communicate with internal departments and external customers on the status of RMAs. Comply with and follow all procedures within company policy. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. What You Bring Demonstrated ability to work in a self‑directed, high‑energy, fast‑paced environment. Strong organizational and time‑management skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word and Excel. Knowledge of SAP. Some previous office assistant or administrative experience. Good written and verbal communication skills. Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs and move products between areas. Ability to address issues at all levels of management effectively. Collaborative, flexible and adaptable attitude. Ability to see business needs through system requirements for smooth integration of projects. Education: Associate’s Degree in Electronics or a certificate of completion from a technical school preferred. Experience: Minimum one year of administrative–related experience; inventory management and/or shipping/receiving experience preferred. Compensation Zt Systems assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for all employees. The typical base salary for this position is expected to be around $17/hr. If hired, the final base salary will be determined on an individual basis taking into consideration experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
