Are you an experienced Export Coordinator, Freight billing specialist, Logistics Coordinator, or Order Management professional looking to grow your career? We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused International Export Shipping Coordinator to oversee export order processing, international shipping operations, customer service, billing, and export documentation.

In this role, you'll be responsible for managing international shipments from order entry through final delivery while ensuring compliance with export regulations, maintaining accurate documentation, and providing exceptional service to customers around the world.

What You'll Do

• Manage international export orders from order entry through final delivery.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing shipment updates, answering inquiries, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
• Coordinate high-volume export shipments with freight forwarders, ocean and air carriers, warehouses, factories, customs brokers, and overseas partners.
• Prepare, review, and process export documentation including:
• • Commercial Invoices
  • Packing Lists
  • Bills of Lading
  • Certificates of Origin
  • Export declarations and other shipping documents
• Ensure compliance with U.S. export regulations, Incoterms, customer requirements, and international shipping procedures.
• Track shipments and proactively resolve transportation delays, documentation issues, and customer concerns.
• Prepare customer invoices and verify billing accuracy, including freight charges, duties, tariffs, and service fees.
• Review freight invoices, vendor billing, and shipping costs while resolving pricing discrepancies with carriers and internal departments.
• Partner with Finance and Accounting to support invoicing, payment processing, credit requests, reconciliations, and account inquiries.
• Assist with invoice corrections, customer billing questions, and pricing adjustments.
• Prepare documentation for letters of credit, documentary collections, wire transfers, and other international payment transactions.
• Maintain accurate records within ERP, order management, and shipping systems.
• Generate operational, shipping, and billing reports while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in international shipping, export operations, logistics, freight forwarding, order processing, customer service, or supply chain coordination .
• Strong knowledge of export documentation, international shipping procedures, Incoterms, and export compliance.
• Experience coordinating shipments with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and overseas vendors.
• Experience with customer order management and international customer support.
• Billing and invoicing experience, including reviewing freight charges and resolving invoice discrepancies.
• Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize multiple shipments, customer accounts, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated problem solver with a proactive approach to customer service and shipment coordination.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Experience using ERP, order management, shipping, inventory, or logistics software.
• Experience with freight forwarding systems, export compliance software, or transportation management systems (TMS) is a plus.
