Litigation Associate

Job Details Title: Litigation Associate. Ref No.: 5141CIN. Location: Cincinnati. Work Type: Full Time. Responsibilities Handle most aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings and motions, legal research, arguing hearings, managing discovery requests and responses, taking and defending depositions, and assisting with trial preparations. Qualifications 2-6 years of experience at a top-tier firm and/or judicial clerkship. Admission to the Ohio Bar. JD from an accredited law school and strong academic record. Excellent credentials. Knowledge, Skills & Experience Experience with healthcare/managed care litigation a plus, but not required. Significant and exceptional writing experience/skills. Legal research, drafting legal documents, conducting discovery, coordinating with local counsel, and generally defending against litigation. Excellent research and organizational skills; strong verbal and written communication abilities. Courtroom and deposition experience preferred but not required. More senior candidates should have substantial experience managing the various aspects of a commercial lawsuit from start to finish; more junior candidates should have an exceptional academic record. Must be a self-starter, prioritize workload, display good judgment, and work well under pressure.
