Staff Accountant

A leading global consulting organization is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its Atlanta, GA team. This firm partners with organizations to turn strategy into execution through practical, results-driven solutions.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Staff Accountant will support the Accounting team by delivering accurate and timely financial information. This role focuses on journal entries, reconciliations, and contributing to an efficient month-end close process.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare and record journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation Assist with the month-end close process Manage and record cash transactions within the accounting system Partner with accounts payable and accounts receivable teams as needed Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and document findings Perform balance sheet reconciliations Contribute to ad hoc projects and process improvements

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field Strong attention to detail with solid analytical and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Quick learner with new systems and tools Ability to work both independently and within a team environment Basic knowledge of U.S. GAAP Experience with large ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Workday preferred) Adaptable mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
