Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to mothers and newborns in the Mother Baby unit
- Monitor maternal and neonatal status, recognize changes, and respond appropriately
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures per physician orders and hospital protocols
- Perform newborn assessments, administer routine newborn care, and support lactation and parental education
- Collaborate with the care team, document accurately in the medical record, and assist with discharge planning
- Maintain patient safety and infection control standards, and respond to emergencies as needed

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the Mother Baby specialty
- BLS for Healthcare Providers required; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) preferred or required per unit policy
- Travel assignment with no locals within 50 miles of the assignment location
- Active Registered Nurse license (Georgia) or eligible for licensure in the state
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and meet holiday coverage requirements
- Prior experience in a hospital setting and familiarity with Mother Baby workflows
