Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Medical ICU/COVID ICU position. The role involves providing specialized critical care to patients in a fast-paced hospital environment, adhering to established protocols and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to ICU patients, including monitoring vital signs and managing medical equipment.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health record systems.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience within a medical ICU or COVID ICU.
• Be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Have NIHSS certification preferred.
• Experience with Cerner electronic medical record system is advantageous.
