Head of Value Creation (PE Portfolio Company)

Overview This position sits at the head office level of a private-equity owned multi-national corporation based in Hong Kong. The business is engaged in the distribution and sales of highly-specialized mechanical and electronic components, with a high-volume, diversified product portfolio and commercial operations spanning Asia, Europe and North America. Position Summary Seeking a results-driven transformation professional to act as the CEO's right-hand person, driving strategy, transformation, and cost optimization initiatives alongside commercial growth agendas. This role requires the ability to convert high-level strategic ideas into concrete, trackable action plans, working cross-functionally with senior stakeholders to ensure successful execution across the organization. Responsibilities Report directly to the CEO, acting as a right-hand partner on strategic execution Derive, plan, and drive cross-functional business transformation initiatives spanning strategy, operations, and commercial functions — including AI adoption, new business development, pricing strategy, supply chain improvement, and M&A Lead broader corporate strategy and enterprise-wide transformation projects, ensuring alignment between strategic priorities and day-to-day execution Identify and drive cost optimization initiatives across the organization, working with functional heads to improve operational efficiency and margin Convert the CEO's strategic ideas into concrete, trackable action plans and ensure timely execution Lead pricing optimization projects to identify and capture revenue opportunities Partner with the C-suite and department heads (Commercial, Sales, Product Management, Digital) as the organization's change agent, driving buy-in and smooth rollout of initiatives across functions Represent the transformation agenda in high-visibility settings, including management and board-level meetings Requirements Relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree 10 to 15 years of overall experience, with top-tier or specialized implementation/transformation consulting in addition to hands-on industry experience Well-rounded strategic thinking combined with strong data analytical and PowerPoint/presentation skills Demonstrated ability to translate theory into action, with the maturity and patience to manage cross-functional stakeholders without direct reporting authority Strong leadership presence for virtual/matrixed team leadership, balanced with humility to gain buy-in from operational staff Fluency in Mandarin and English required; Cantonese strongly preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr The Barton Partnership
