Auditing Clerk

Duration: 2+ months Location: Tallahassee, FL Note: 20 hrs a week, Monday - Friday, flexible within the hours of 8am and 5pm

Job Description:

• Auditing financial documents
• Performing accounting calculations
• Ability to determine the financial stability of companies
• Utilize computer programs to find documents, perform calculations, and enter the required information into a reporting form.
• Candidate will not work outside the office or have contact with the public

Mandatory Skills/Experience:

• Basic accounting skills
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel
• Knowledge of GAAP preferred
• Previous auditing experience
• Ability to work independently and think critically

Required/Desired Skills:

• Ability to speak and understand English
• High school diploma or GED
• Basic accounting skills
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel
• Ability to work independently
• Experience performing calculations and entering information into a reporting form in Excel
• Experience auditing financial documents
• Experience performing accounting calculations to determine financial stability of a company
