Commercial Lender
A community bank in Dubuque is confidentially looking for a self-motivated Commercial Lender to grow and manage business relationships across Dubuque County and eastern Iowa. You'll handle business development, underwriting, structuring, closing, and servicing for owner-operated companies and commercial real estate investors.
Responsibilities:
- Assess each client's goals and match them with the right loan and deposit products
- Cross-sell treasury management and other bank services
- Manage and expand an existing book of commercial relationships
- Hit loan and deposit growth targets
- Open and onboard new business accounts
- Review creditworthiness and prepare loan write-ups and closing documents
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Commercial lending background with direct client contact
- Confident communicator and presenter
- Hands-on experience with loan proposals and underwriting
- Strong organization and the ability to balance multiple deals
- Ties to the Dubuque business community are a plus
