It is our expectation that each employee will offer his/her services wherever and whenever necessary to ensure the success of our endeavors.Essential Functions:Create Engineering Change Requests to document required changes against existing productsProduct design using CreoRevise engineering drawings as required to maintain legacy product dataSupport configuration changes based on new sales to customersSupport builds on the production floorSupport internal and external technical help requestsConceptual design of new products and ideas to improve existing productsPrototype construction and testingMaterials/parts research and selection for use in product designsCreate drawing packagesCreate and validate new designs (modeling/analyzing/drafting/BOM creation)Mark up drawings and create redlines for engineering incorporationInterpret and apply geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T)Support development and qualification testingSupport evaluation of product non-conformitiesMay be required to work outside of normal business hours, including evenings and weekends, as necessary to meet program objectives and deadlinesJob Specifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and multitaskExcellent organization skills with strong attention to detailExcellent teamwork skills and a high degree of initiative requiredExcellent communication, both written and verbalWork independently and possess a high level of self-motivation and initiativeMust be proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Experience in Creo and WindchillProficient with 3-D modeling and 2-D draftingProficient with ASME Y14 drafting and design standardsWorking knowledge of FAA Certification PracticesEducation, Certifications, and Experience:BS in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, Material Sciences or related fields0-3 years’ experience in engineering or related industry, aerospace preferredPhysical Demands and Work Environment:Working conditions are normal for that of a manufacturing/machine shop/office environment.All employees are expected to adhere to Company safety policies and wear personal protective equipment when exposed to work areas or performing tasks where it is required.Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
