What You'll Be Doing: Taking the reins on daily billing of insurance claims and following up on outstanding balances (both payor and self-pay) Monitoring, reconciling, and resolving accounts like a pro - because clean books = happy team Navigating complex insurance systems and workflows with ease and accuracy Working with commercial insurance, Medicare, Medicaid , and special programs like a seasoned pro Acting as our go-to expert on third-party billing processes and regulatory compliance Keeping quality high and errors low - your work directly supports our mission and reputation Tools of the Trade: A mix of electronic health systems , Excel , Outlook , and your trusty 10-key calculator Familiarity with 837i forms , ICD-10/CPT/HCPC codes , revenue codes , and HIPAA transaction sets A good grasp of medical terminology - no need to be a doctor, but bonus points if you can decode acronyms in your sleep You’ll Thrive If You: Have an Associate's degree (or equivalent experience - we value skill!)
