Staff Accountant

Role Description

This is an operational accounting role with real scope that will grow with the business. You'll own accounts payable and accounts receivable end-to-end, keep our bank accounts reconciled daily, ensure our platform data matches NetSuite, and take on new projects as the company grows. You'll work directly in NetSuite on a team that uses AI to move faster, and you'll be expected to flag inefficiencies, improve processes, and bring ideas — not just execute tasks.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage the full-cycle accounts payable & accounts receivable process from data entry to retailer/vendor communications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and provide insights for decision-making.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Support the implementation, maintenance and administration of accounting software and systems.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of accounting experience with knowledge and application of GAAP.
• A detail-oriented go-getter who enjoys collaborating cross-functionally.
• Excel & Google Sheets whiz (formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, VBA) to automate and streamline accounting processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with NetSuite, Ramp, Bill.com, Google Suite.

Requirements

• Annual pay range for this full-time position is $75-95k + equity + benefits across all US locations (this position is 100% remote-US).
• Pay may vary based on location, skills, relevant experience, and advanced education/training.
