Customer Account Manager
Our client, a leader in the food industry, is seeking a Customer Account Manager to join their team. As a Customer Account Manager, you will be part of the Commercial Sales Department supporting customer relationships and category growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Customer Account Manager
Location: Work Location: Hybrid (if close to Arlington, VA) otherwise Remote
What's the Job?
- Manage the day-to-day responsibilities of Commercial and Salvage Customers
- Create and maintain strong business relationships with all buyers
- Identify and secure product expansion opportunities
- Develop, present, and plan customers' annual product needs
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to maximize execution at store level
What's Needed?
- 5+ years of relevant sales experience in customer management or commercial development
- Experience in the fruit or vegetable industry preferred
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional results in sales and market share gains
- Strong knowledge of sales fundamentals including pricing, promotion, and assortment
- Excellent communication and analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
