Recreation Services Attendant - Winter 26-27The Recreation Services Attendant position is responsible for interacting with guests to ensure a memorable experience throughout the resort. This position may cover work areas such as base area, on-mountain, parking lots, bus depots and Lost Forest activities such as the climbing wall, tubing and the alpine coaster. This role reports to the Guest Services Manager.Applications for this position will be accepted until October 1, 2026 for the 2026-2027 Winter Season.Essential Job Functions:Greet guests and maintain a friendly and helpful attitude dealing with guest needsEnsure the safe operation of on-mountain activities including explaining regulations, policies or procedures involved in the various recreational facilities, activities and equipmentAssist guests with any equipment for correct fit and proper use, working knowledge of the course and equipment, including requirements for overall safety of the structure, elements, harnessing and proper use by participantsBe able to answer questions, promote and offer information about the resort, activities and surrounding areaSet-up, operate, breakdown work area while ensuring a safe and neat environmentClear, monitor and inspect equipment, tracks, rides or courses daily on the ground and at heightsReport complaints and guest concerns to supervisor in a timely mannerCheck tickets, record attendance, sales, receipts, reservations and repair of activitiesCollect, handle and store ski/snowboard equipmentConduct market research surveys with on-site guests when necessaryPerform other duties as assignedEducation & Experience Requirements:Proficient experience in the guest service industryPrevious experience in one or more of the areas/activities described above preferredHigh School diploma or equivalent preferredKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:General knowledge of the resort and areaFamiliarity with company rules, regulations, and operational standardsUnderstanding on how to assist customers and meet their needs effectivelyBasic industry terminologyBasic computer skillsAbility to work in collaboration with others to achieve team goalsFollows all safety policies and procedures and exercises caution when workingAbility to quickly adapt to changes in processes, customer flow, environments, and tasksAbility to engage with customers in a positive and helpful mannerWork environment and physical demands:Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand, bend or be on your feet for extended periods of timeRegularly work in wet, cold, hot conditions requiring the use of protective apparel/equipment to prevent exposure to the elements and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfacesMust be able to frequency lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistanceJob Benefits:Paid Time Off ProgramsPaid Leave ProgramsEmployee Ski PassOther company perksAspen One is an equal opportunity employer (Minority/Female/Disabled/Veteran).
