Summary We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CF) to join a dynamic rehabilitation services team. The ideal candidate will have experience evaluating and treating speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders across adult patient populations. Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and Plan of Care (POC) Perform bedside swallow evaluations and dysphagia management Complete patient reassessments, discharge planning, and documentation Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams Educate patients and families on treatment strategies and home exercises Maintain accurate documentation and charge capture per facility standards Ensure compliance with all regulatory, organizational, and departmental requirements Assist with supervision of assistants, aides, and assigned students as needed Required Qualifications Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program Active State License SLP-CF certification BLS certification Minimum 2 years of experience preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred Skills & Experience Dysphagia & Swallowing Management Bedside Swallow Evaluations FEES and Modified Barium Swallow Studies Dysphagia treatment strategies Oral motor therapy Passy Muir Valve management Trach/Vent patient care Diet modification and thickening agents Hyolaryngeal exercises Frazier Free Water Protocol Adult Patient Populations CVA (Stroke) Dysphagia and Dysarthria TBI Degenerative diseases Voice and fluency disorders Tracheostomy and ventilator-dependent patients Neurodevelopmental and nervous system disorders Documentation & Clinical Skills Evaluation and reassessment documentation Plan of Care development Point-of-service documentationMedicare/Medicaid documentation standards OASIS knowledge preferred Patient and family education Preferred Experience Epic charting experience Home Health experience preferred Experience with adaptive and augmentative communication devices Benefits Weekly pay Medical benefits #J-18808-Ljbffr LanceSoft
